Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 1, 2025  |  Last updated: January 1, 2025

NeonMoth is a free browser game in which you guide a moth through gaps between glowing neon signs in the city night. This policy describes what data flickers through when you play.

1. Information We Collect

Like a moth drawn only to the right light, we collect only what genuinely matters. We may receive:

2. How We Use Your Information

Data is used solely to keep the signs illuminated, replace burnt-out bulbs (fix bugs), and gauge how far players typically flutter. We never use it for advertising, profiling, or resale.

3. Local Storage and Cookies

Your best run lives in your browser's local storage only. Delete browser data and the record extinguishes permanently — we hold no server-side backup.

4. Third-Party Services

Display fonts are fetched from Google Fonts via a standard browser request. No other third-party services are wired into this game.

5. Children's Privacy

NeonMoth includes no violent content, no gambling, and no in-app purchases. The moth simply rests when it touches a sign. Suitable for all ages; we do not collect information from users under 13.

6. Data Retention

Server log files, if any, are purged after a limited operational period. Local gameplay data is entirely under your own browser's control.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may be entitled to access, rectify, or request deletion of any personal data we hold. You are welcome to submit a request through our website's contact form.

8. Security

Reasonable technical safeguards are applied to any data we handle. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy at any time by publishing a revised version with a new date. Continued play after publication equals acceptance.
